Payment terms

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

For a reservation to be held on any itinerary, a deposit of 30% per person per itinerary is required. The balances of payments are due 60 days prior to arrival in Tanzania. This deposit forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be counterbalanced to the total amount charged to the client/agent.

If the full amount is not paid at least 40 days prior to departure day, the Company reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and the deposit shall not be refunded. Clients/Agents booking within 40 days of tour departure are required to pay the full amount or clearly agree with our office about how the payment will work immediately to secure the reservation. For the late bookings one within 5 and 0 days clients need to obtain clear information on how they will go paying.

All bank charges are to be settled by the client or agent respectively. This includes transaction fees charged by our bank. The amount shown on the invoice is the amount that needs to reflect in our account and should bank charges have been deducted, we would have to invoice you afterward.

BOOKING AMENDMENTS

For amendments of existing bookings done by the client/ agent (e.g. departure dates, air tickets, accommodation, number of participants etc.) a handling fee of 70 USD per booking applies. The handling fee will be charged in addition to the service provider fees.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be sent in writing to the office that confirmed the reservation. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit.

Leken Adventures entitled to act as an agent or principal with regard to the provision of the services.

If a booking is cancelled the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

60 days or more notice 75 percent of the TOTAL BOOKING COST shall be refunded.
59 – 40 days’ notice 50 percent of the TBC shall be refunded
39 – 30 days notice 25 percent of the TBC shall be refunded
29 – Days or less notice given no refund of the TBC shall be made.

All changes in Itinerary are free of charge until 30 days before departure and handling fee of $70 per booking will be added for any changes done within 30 and 10 days before departure, no any changes between 10 and 0 days.

The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification in instances where this is unavoidable. However, in that case the Company agrees to refund all monies already paid by the client. This shall be the Company´s sole responsibility to the client and no claim for any damages, howsoever arising, shall accrue against the company.

We had 5 Days safari, traveling between 3 parks Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP& Ngorongoro Crater From the first contact we had with Alex to plan our trip, everything went perfectly! The availability, speed and agility in closing a program that matches our needs are something that is visible from day one! Not to mention the possibility of exchanging emails. Our guide Ayub has a special eye for discovering animals; we had amazing animal experiences 2 meters from the jeep. We were fortunate to see the Big5 and to bring home experiences and fantastic stories! I clearly recommend that you choose Leken Adventure for this spectacular trip. Thank you Leken Adventure Team

I, my wife and my daughter stayed for eleven days in Tanzania with Leken Adventures We made 9 days 8 nights lodge safari. The organization was very flexible in terms of dates and cost: Leken Adventures satisfied all our requests/needs, Even if all the communication was via e-mail & what’s-App, it was clear and effective. The tour was really well organized, we had a pleasant stay in all lodges and tented camps. Leken Adventures took care of everything, so relaxing for us. Our driver and guide, Ayub, was friendly, professional and spoke a very good Spanish! Last but not least he was a very good driver - which is not commonplace. I strongly recommend Leken Adventures for your Safari in Tanzania.

After months of coronavirus isolation in Europe, the safari in Africa is all the more fascinating. Once Tanzania reopened for tourists again and the holidays began, there was nothing to think about. I had a great experience with Leken Adventures, so I asked their professional guide Ombeni and his boss Alex to recommend me another adventure... so I decided to visit Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park this time. It was almost a VIP adventure, because we were only two tourists in the car - me and a nice man from the UK. Ombeni took perfect care of us all the time, prepared an excellent picnic lunch in the park and told a lot of interesting things about the animals with genuine interest along the way. One of the great adventures is changing the tire, which we managed together. Ombeni just has a smile on his face at all times and that's how it should be. Tarangire National Park captivated me with the number of elephants and huge baobabs we admired. We were also very lucky with the lions I wanted to see the most. Thanks to the professionalism of the Leken Adventure team, I have a lot of unforgettable experiences again.

We booked both the Mountain Climbing and the Safari through Leken Adventures both were incredible For the Kilimanjaro trek - led by our guide Paul was extremely patient and answered all our many questions regarding wildlife/culture/scenery. The chef, Dom prepared us fantastic meals in difficult situations. The porters took great care of us, supplying us with tea and snacks! For the Safari – Ayoub was our driver, he went to great lengths to make sure we saw as many of the animals as possible - he also got us a fantastic view of the Wildebeests crossing the river Mara! We stayed at the Tloma lodge - all the staff was fantastic - as was the food and the quality of the room - a beautiful place. I don’t have anything negative to say - we were happy with everything.
