Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive. Known for its diverse ecosystems, this park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the famous tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and herds of elephants. Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, driving through lush groundwater forests and savannahs. Equipped with packed lunch you will drive to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you will have the opportunity to search for the Big Five animals. Over a million years ago, Ngorongoro Crater, now the world's largest inactive caldera, was once among Africa's tallest mountains until volcanic forces caused it to dramatically collapse.
After lunch, you will embark on afternoon game drive an opportunity to search for buffaloes, zebras, elands, gazelles, elephants, lions, and scavengers like spotted hyenas and jackals. The crater also offers a glorious opportunity to see the endangered and rare black rhinos. After the game drive, you will ascend from the crater and drive to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and and overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, set off for a transfer to Tarangire National Park for an exhilarating game drive. Your guide will lead you to prime game viewing spots within the park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees. The game drive will focus around the Tarangire River, the main water source in the park, which attracts a variety of animals including giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and lions.
In the afternoon, your driver-guide will take you to a perfect spot for a hot picnic lunch. After lunch, continue exploring the park, scanning for various animals and birds, with over 500 species having been spotted in the area. After wildlife viewing, you will be transferred to Arusha for your onward journey.

Payment terms
- All services are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.
- A deposit of 25% of the total value for each person referred to on the booking form is required at the time of booking. If a higher deposit is required for any particular tour, this will be indicated before confirmation.
- Where gorilla permits are required, they must be paid in full at the time of confirmation and are non-refundable. This is in addition to the standard non-refundable deposit.
- The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the tour, unless otherwise indicated of which a certain percentage can be paid upon the start of the tour. Should this payment not be received without notice, Go Expedtions Africa reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled, whereby normal cancellation conditions apply.
- If the booking is made within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking. The contract between us is made when we issue your confirmation invoice.
- At the time of booking, we require full details for all passengers (names must be as they appear in passports).
Cancellation policy
Cancellation by you:
We have two different cancellation & refund policies that make us the most flexible operator in the industry.
- If you decide to cancel your holiday you must notify us as soon as possible. Any notification by telephone must also be confirmed in writing or by e-mail within 24 hours and is effective from the day we are notified, provided that written confirmation is received by us within 24 hours of the original notification.
- Rescheduling: We give you the opportunity to move the full payments of your booking to the future. Without additional funds. This is valid for 24 months since the cancellation/postponement).
- Refunds resulting from, and/or happening during unforeseen circumstances beyond our control mentioned under section LIABILITY 7.4, may take prolonged processing time than expected.
- On the occasion that a client uses our recommended accommodations (we have a plethora of properties to choose from), the properties that have flexible cancellation policies;-
- Cancelling up to 30 days before your arrival, the total amount of the reservation minus bank charges will be refunded.
- Cancellation within 29-15 days before your arrival, 50% of the total amount of the reservation minus bank charges will be refunded
- Cancellation within 14 – 0 days or no show, 100% of your deposit will be charged
On the occasion that a client uses their own preferred accommodations, the properties have no flexible cancellation policies.
- From 63 – 49 days before your arrival full amount minus bank charges will be refunded
- From 49 to 35 days before your arrival, 25% of the total amount of the reservation minus bank charges will not be refunded
- From 35 to 21 days before your arrival, 50% of the total amount of the reservation minus bank charges will not be refunded
- From 21to 7 days before your arrival, 75% of the total amount of the reservation minus bank charges will not be refunded.
- No refund will be provided for No Show or cancellation made from 7 to 0 days before your arrival.
- 5.1.3 No refund will be given for gorilla permits, independent of the cancellation date.
- Refunds will not be given for unused services, the late arrival or the absence of clients.
- We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from cancellations.
- Cancellation by Go Expedtions Africa:
- We reserve the right to cancel your holiday and charge cancellation fees (as defined above)
should you fail to pay the balance when due.
- Go Expedtions Africa reserves the right to cancel your tour up to 60 days before start date.
After this we will not cancel your tour unless it is for a reason outside our control. In such circumstances we will offer you the choice of an alternative holiday if available, or full refund. If we have to cancel your holiday we will offer you:
- Arrangements of a similar nature, standard and price, if available.
- Arrangements of a lower standard, whereby the difference in price will be refunded.
- More expensive arrangements, whereby the difference in price will be paid by you.
- A full refund.
- Go Expedtions Africa accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from cancellations.
