The adventure then transitions to the wilderness, beginning with a full day of game drives in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The climax of the safari is a full-day exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural amphitheater and UNESCO site teeming with wildlife, including the rare black rhino. After a final overnight near the crater, you return to Arusha for your onward flight. After customs procedures and luggage collection, you will be met by meet-and-greet representative from Licaon Tours & Safaris who will introduce you to your driver-guide for the road transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2

Soon after, you will be picked by your private driver-guide and drive to Materuni Village.

In the company of a local guide, you will take a hike to the waterfalls and if interested you can partake the swimming. This will be followed by a coffee tour after which you will participate in preparation of coffee drink. The aroma itself will leave you the best memories of this visit.

At midday, you will be treated with Tanzanian traditional food prepared in traditional utensils. This is an opportunity to taste the truly organic food stuff. Among other food stuff, you will taste boiled banana mixed with beef stew, green vegetables, beans, rice with spices, polenta locally known as “ugali” and seasonal fruits.

Later, transfer back to your hotel in Arusha.

With a boxed lunch, leave for Tarangire National Park for game drives.

In Tarangire, you will be amazed to see huge herds of elephants, huge baobab trees, zebras, and many species of birds. The Tarangire River is also one of the attractions of this park.

With picnics, drive to Ngorongoro and arrive at the rim of the crater in 2.5 hours’ time.

Soon after, descend to the floor of the crater for game drives.

Later, ascend out of the crater and proceed to your lodge.

Later, proceed to Ngorongoro Farm House or similar for dinner and accommodation.

These are private trips with no specific dates of departure. They cater for families, friends, couples, honeymooners or group of friends or students and solo travelers.
The kids as always welcome to participate in safari, have special discount on accommodation and park fees especially for the ages from 3 to 11 year. The discount on accommodation is when sharing rooms with adults. Please let know if you have kids so that we advise their applicable prices.

Payment terms

THE BOOKING

Bookings and subsequent contracts are deemed to have been concluded by the Company's physical address in Arusha, Tanzania, and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The place of jurisdiction is Arusha, Tanzania.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client.
After the initial 20% deposit is received, the balance payment should be made four (4) weeks prior to the arrival date.
Clients booking within four (4) weeks of tour departure are required to pay the full amount immediately to secure the reservation.
All bank charges are to be settled by the client.

Cancellation policy

Any trip cancellations must be sent in writing to the office that confirmed the reservation. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit.

If a booking is canceled, the penalties are as follows:

30 days prior to arrival – 20% of the total invoice will be charged
29 to 15 days prior to arrival – 50% of the total invoice will be charged
14 to 7 days prior to arrival – 75% of the total invoice will be charged
Less than 7 days prior to arrival – 100% of the invoice will be levied

Our experience with Liacon has been excellent from minute one. We take a 6-day safari through Arusha park, TaranguirePark, Serengeti park, Ngorongoro crater. Iddi always very attentive, helped us in planning the trip, organizing and all the issues leading up to the trip. Always attending to our preferences. Not only has it been a trip to safari, but we have been able to get to know the Tanzanian culture and the way of life of the locals thanks to the excursions scheduled by both the rice and banana fields, the local food or the Maasai people. Our Andreu(Enru) guide was outstanding. Always very attentive. An excellent professional as a guide, knowing every corner of the parks to not miss anything, as well as an excellent person. It has been very gratifying for us to share our trip with you. We also have good words for our cook Fofy, who prepared us more delicious meals during our camping days! Overall, the organization of the company, Iddi (its manager) and his staff (both our guide and our cook) has been quite successful. Finally, it is to be appreciated that they have also managed our move to Zanzibar, always reaching out to us for any questions or questions we needed.
